The Center for Health Systems Research (CHSR or CISS) is committed to research, teaching and service for the development of equitable health in Mexico and throughout the world.

The importance of health systems is growing parallel to the recognition of the way in which financing, sustentation and organization of health care are determinant factors not only to improve health but also to guarantee a dignifying attention as well as financial protection for all the population.

CISS structure is oriented to the promotion of research in:

1. Health systems’ determinants and challenges,

2. Generation of innovations that will help resolve lags in health systems and face changes,

3. Reproduce these innovations, stimulating management and leadership.

CISS is committed with the mission oriented research promoted by INSP General Director and maintains a special relation with its clients and students.
