The Regional Center for Public Health Research (CRISP for its name in Spanish) has been part of the National Institute of Public Health since 1996. Our work at the CRISP is aligned to the research areas of the Institute, and involves providing services to the community such as evaluating insecticides and pest control, additionally offers interesting academic graduate programs in public health.

At present, the Center’s work is focused in the following research areas:
• Prevention and control of vector borne diseases
• Environmental health

Our services include:
• Diagnosis of malaria
• Evaluation of insecticides
• Pest control

Our academic offer includes:
• Master in health sciences with specialty in vector borne diseases
• Master in public health with specialty in vector borne diseases
• And we will soon be offering a Masters degree with specialty in malariologya

We are a research Center that comprises interdisciplinary professionals who work to promote social equity by generating knowledge, innovating health systems and training human resources for public health.
Since its creation three decades ago, the CRISP has become an excellence Center in vector borne diseases research, always interested in gaining knowledge and committed to contribute to the development of public health for social wellbeing in the southern and south border region of Mexico.
